You Can’t Live Without Aging!

Access to information and resources about aging and caregiving. A database of

programs and services found locally, statewide and nationally that promote the

well-being, independence and self-determination of older adults.

 

Support Services

Comprehensive assessments of older adults to identify needs, initiate

service plans, make referrals, arrange and coordinate services, and monitor progress.

Companion Aide Registry for the Elderly (C.A.R.E.)

A resource of self-employed individuals offering in-home care and/or housekeeping assistance.

Health Insurance Counseling (703) 792-4156

Assistance with health insurance issues to include Medicare, Medigap,

Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, long-term care insurance and Medicaid.

Community focal points for active adults 55+ providing a variety of services to include

fitness classes, health screenings, educational and recreational programs, and arts and crafts, wellness programs, dance, and computer classes. Limited local transportation

from your home to the center provided based on eligibility.

Weekday Lunches

Nutrition education and healthy meals are available at the centers in

Manassas and Woodbridge.

A licensed adult day care program in Woodbridge that offers group-based activities, socialization, personal care, and health monitoring to frail older adults,

also offering caregiver respite and support.
